Last night I had my biggest multi table tournament in-the-money finish, winning £100 in the new Ritz Club £2500 guaranteed MPP tournie.

Only 62 entrants with and top 10 places paid, so I was quite pleased.

And it was surprising tight too. I was expecting an all-in fest early on, but no. Tight play was the order of the day from the first hand.

It took over 2 and half hours to get down to the final table, with me busting out the bubble boy, and then another half an hour or more to get the 10th place person out. I eventually finished in 8th when I pushed my small stack all in under the gun with 77. Only 1 caller, who turned over QTo, so I was a slight favourite. Unfortunately he caught a queen on the river.
