I didn't play much poker last night. I fancied a tournie and found a $1 Limit MTT on PokerStars.
But it didn't go well. I was unfortunate enough to get a table with a fair number of maniacs AND I got several premium hands.
I had QQ busted by K5s when he made a flush. I had AK busted by K7o when the other guy hit his 7 on the flop and the King came in on the river. And on the very next hand he did the same thing with A 10. Hit his 10 on the flop and got the Ace on the river. Luckily I wasn't in that hand. I then tried to sit tight but didn't get many hands worth playing after and when I did I didn't hit.
I busted out in 491st place.

I must give a shout out to Ian over at http://pokerplan.net . I came across his site from a post on 2+2.
He is developing a poker training plan, which as well charting his poker learning experience will provide a plan for anyone else who seriously wants to learn the game of poker.
I was very impressed and I wish him all the best.
And he seems like a nice guy too!
