My second in-the-money finish

After my resounding success in last week's Pokerstars $3+$1 Limit Hold'em tournie I thought I'd try my luck again.

And I managed to get into the money again. I ended up getting 49th out of 558 netting me an impressive $5.85 for my $4 entry fee.

This time though it was bit tougher. Just before the second break I open raised in EP with QQ and got two callers. Flop was all low cards with a 2 flush. I bet out. One caller. The turn was a 7 putting a three flush on the board. I bet out and held my breath. The other guy raised. I probably should have folded there and then but I called and called again on the river (which needless to say didn't help me). He turned over 65o for a straight, leaving me with T$545, less than 1SB!

After the break, I was all-in in the big blind but managed to double up, pairing my Jack. Next hand I had a pair of 8s so I raised all-in and survived and won the race.

From then on, I barely played a hand and just scraped into the money a very happy man.
