VE day saw us head off to deepest, darkest Glenrothes for a VE Day Celebration hangar dance hosted by the Fife Flying Club. It was a good night. The band played a good selection of tunes (although not always in tune!) and my knees held up pretty well on the concrete floor. Cathy and Gilbert, who'd been teaching for ESDS that afternoon, were there and they seemed to enjoy themselves too.
