It's been 5 days since the operation and it's time to go back to work (boo!). The swelling has went down considerably but there is still a fair bit of pain when walking.
The frustrating thing now is that I won't be able to tell if the knee behaves better than before the operation until the swelling goes down completely which could be another week or so. I'm due back at the consultant on Tuesday. Hopefully he'll be able to give me the full story and let me know the general condition of the cartilage under the kneecap.
