It's now two days since I had the knee operation.
The operation appears to have been a success. The cartilage tear wasn't as bad as the consultant thought so only a small section had to be removed. What pleased me was the he also found a fold or flap of cartilage under the kneecap. This was where I suspected the trouble lay so I was glad to hear that something was found (and hopefully corrected).
So now I'm in the recovering phase. I was expecting to go back to work on Monday but that is looking unlikely. My knee is very swollen and very painful. Walking is troublesome as is getting into and out of the shower.
Hopefully, tomorrow will bring some improvement.
