Well, it's been a while since the last update...
First off, great line by Paul tonight in the final of Strictly Dance Fever. "At the end of the day, he didn't get up". After his particularily nasty comments in the previous week's program, Jason Alexander did not get up and show us his dance skills using the excuse that he was wearing a "5 grand suit".
What an arse he is.
And congratulations to Joseph and Sadie on their victory and commiserations to James and Claire.

VE day saw us head off to deepest, darkest Glenrothes for a VE Day Celebration hangar dance hosted by the Fife Flying Club.
It was a good night. The band played a good selection of tunes (although not always in tune!) and my knees held up pretty well on the concrete floor.
Cathy and Gilbert, who'd been teaching for ESDS that afternoon, were there and they seemed to enjoy themselves too. |

Ruth and I were dancing in Dunfermline on Tuesday evening at the Razz Big Band's monthly event called funnily enough "Swing, Swing, Swing" (note the commas)
(BTW, the Glen Pavilion in Pittecrief Park is a superb venue. Great floor, lots of space, excellent bar).
Anyway, Ruth got talking to a couple who loved our dancing and said we looked like that couple off the tele, Paul and Natasha!
Made my night that did.
And to the driver who pranged our car in the car park - "Thanks a bunch" You could have left contact details, but no. Just you drive away safe in the knowledge that no one saw you.

Saturday at the Spring Fling was another mixture of ups and downs.
I wasn't booked up for any of the workshops....what was the point with my knee the way it was. But I realised that this would be a good opportunity to test it out. So I'm dropped in to the beginner level classes and gave it a go.
